We begin by expressing our thanks and congratulations to all those involved in the Eroii Internetului competition! The dangers of the online environment have grown, as has children's exposure to inappropriate content.
This year's program has demonstrated that students are facing increasingly challenging situations and they need adults to guide them in the vast world of the internet. Everyone who has been part of the Internet Heroes project has contributed to raising awareness of the dangers and combating them.
During the Internet Heroes competition, students from grades 0 to VIII, together with their teachers, created online safety awareness campaigns. They provided their peers with information about the dangers of the internet or discussed the Internet Heroes program in their classrooms.
This year's edition comes with special prizes
After a careful evaluation of the projects for the Internet Heroes competition, the jury has decided that last year's projects had an unmatched scale compared to those submitted this year. However, it was a challenging year for students, so even though the top positions were not reached, several teams impressed the jury with their determination to create online safety campaigns.
This year, these 3 teams receive special Internet Heroes awards:
Answer Team, Tiha-Bârgăului Elementary School, Bistrița Năsăud
WeAlert, Dora Dalles Middle School, Bucșani, Dâmbovița
"Miko and the Internet Friends", Cleja Middle School, Bacău
And Mr. Alexandru Georgiu from Tiha-Bârgăului Elementary School receives the award for the most involved teacher in the competition.
We congratulate these teams and all participants for their efforts!
We hope that next year we will have the opportunity to offer 2 prizes for each place, and we leave you, as a reference point, an ebook, part of the projects of those who won first place last year.

Although it may not be on many parents' lists when talking to their children about strangers, cars, pushing, or other dangers, the internet is an environment where young people are exposed, and the problems they can encounter are very real and serious.
Children face data theft, harassment, phishing, and even cases of child pornography on the internet. They need education to avoid these dangers, and Internet Heroes provides the resources to help them.
The program is dedicated especially to parents and teachers, who, after participating in training, receive the information they need to communicate openly with children about the online environment. The program includes the Internet Heroes Competition and the Internet Heroes Caravan, the show for kids about online safety, a complete program, and many other resources that we invite you to discover by following the Adfaber Association.
