In today's interconnected world, leveraging technology to bring together non-profit organizations, donors, and volunteers has become crucial in creating a positive social impact. Team Digital Armie embraced this challenge by developing the Angel’s Road project in the sixth edition of the Technovation Girls Romania competition, organized by Adfaber, with the support of the sponsor BCR.
Angel’s Road is a digital application that acts as a bridge between associations and potential donors or volunteers. Maria-Emilia Iordache, from Colegiul Naţional Gheorghe Lazăr in Bucharest, and Ioana-Valeria Gavrilă, Sofia Maia Bud, and Miriam Tranca, from Colegiul Național Emil Racoviță in Cluj, the brilliant girls of the Digital Armie team, want the Angel’s Road application to revolutionize the way non-profit organizations and well-intentioned individuals collaborate.
Angel’s Road provides a diverse list of NGOs and causes, allowing users to select the initiatives that ignite their passion and decide how they wish to contribute. Whether it's through financial donations or hands-on activities, the app encourages users to make a difference with any small act of kindness.
"Our application connects donors and volunteers with multiple NGOs. Users can see in real-time what happens with the investment they make, and each person can set a monthly kindness goal. The donation process is much easier: the user can donate instantly, the amount going directly to the organization they want to support. With Angel’s Road, we aim to encourage people to actively participate in the community and lend a helping hand to those in need.", explained Maria, a member of the Digital Armie team.
Have you ever wanted to see a map of all the organizations and quickly choose how you can contribute? Angel’s Road simplifies the donation process, making it easy and accessible for everyone. You can navigate through the app, explore organizations, and donate securely with just a few taps on the screen. This streamlined experience removes barriers and encourages greater participation from the entire community.
Or are you eager to give some of your time for a good cause? Angel’s Road is your trusted companion! This app opens the door to life-changing volunteering opportunities. The app's creators promise you a list of all the projects you can contribute to, allowing you to choose activities that perfectly match your skills and interests. Through Angel’s Road, you will be connected to meaningful volunteering experiences that will fill your heart with joy and strengthen your community involvement. Together, we can make a difference!
