National Java Competition – Program in Greenfoot 2025 – Official Launch 🎉

Adfaber, with the support of the sponsor Oracle Academy, launches the ninth edition of Java Competition – Program in Greenfoot 2025, dedicated to high school students passionate about technology. 🎮 This free competition offers young people the opportunity to develop their programming skills by creating games or interactive lessons on the Greenfoot platform, a platform designed to teach Java in a creative and hands-on way.

Participants are encouraged to explore programming and contribute to innovation in the field of digital education. In addition to the technical challenge, the competition promotes teamwork, creative thinking, and the use of technology for educational purposes.

The theme of the 2025 edition of the Java competition – Program in Greenfoot

The theme of this year, "Interactive game or lesson", invites students to develop interactive projects using the Greenfoot platform that highlight the positive side of technology. How to register for the programming competition and who can participate? ✍️

Registration is free and it is done online until the date of January 19, 2025 by completing the registration form. Final projects must be submitted by February 9, 2025.
Participation is open to all students in grades IX-XII, and teachers are invited to guide students on this educational journey. It is important to note that a teacher can mentor multiple teams, but a student can be part of only one team.
