Transform the world with each book donated through EcoReads!

Despre Technovation si femei in tehnologie

The Tough Cult is one of the two teams in the Junior category that qualified this year for the international semifinals of Technovation Girls.

Laura Moldovan, Silvia Cârlan, and Laura Anghel, students at the National College of Computer Science "Tudor Vianu" in Bucharest, demonstrate that women have a well-deserved place in technology.

These 3 smart girls propose a project that facilitates access to education, drastically reduces the amount of paper used, and the pollution resulting from paper processing. Their application is called EcoReads and allows users to donate books they no longer read to others.

EcoReads provides access to education

The Tough Cult team understands that education is essential for everyone's development and believes that all children should have access to books and relevant information. That's why their application allows donors to provide books to students and schools in need of learning resources.

EcoReads, a modern solution to environmental issues

One of the core values of the EcoReads app is sustainability. The Tough Cult team understands the importance of protecting the environment and aims to contribute to pollution reduction with the help of a digital application. Through EcoReads, users are encouraged to donate books they no longer use, allowing them to be reused instead of being discarded or taking up unnecessary space.

Through their project, EcoReads, the students not only created an innovative application but also brought a positive impact on the environment and education.
