In a world where technology is transforming every field of activity, it's encouraging to see young talented girls getting involved in addressing urgent social issues. Today, we spotlight an exceptional team of girls passionate about technology, who have qualified for the sixth semi-final of Technovation Girls Romania<\/a>, a competition organized by Adfaber<\/a>, with the support of the sponsor BCR<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Debuggers team, comprised of 3 high school students: Iulia Panter and Antonia Tarfulea, from the International Computer Science High School in Bucharest, and Leti\u021bia Soare from the National Computer Science College Tudor Vianu in Bucharest<\/strong>, developed the UHelp app, an innovative project aimed at assisting Ukrainian refugees in Romania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UHelp provides easy access to resources and services <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This application ensures refugees have access to essential resources and services. With an intuitive map-based interface, UHelp provides relevant and up-to-date information about the locations and availability of these resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the standout features of the UHelp app is the Resources page, which showcases a wide array of information and services. Each type of resource is represented by a unique color code, making navigation and quick access to relevant information easier for users. This intuitive visual approach makes the app user-friendly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another significant feature of the UHelp app is the integrated translation engine, which ensures efficient communication between refugees and the Romanian community. With support for Romanian, Ukrainian, English, and Russian languages, the translation engine is linked to Google Translate, enabling refugees to communicate more easily with local authorities, service providers, and volunteers, overcoming language barriers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The girls from the Debuggers team, although they come from different high schools, collaborated and laid the foundation for this valuable project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team's qualification for the international semi-finals is a recognition of the talent and creativity of the 3 girls, reminding us that gender is not a barrier in the field of technology and that women play an essential role in society's innovation and development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
