The National Database Modeling Competition \"EDB StartUP\" 2025 <\/strong>marks another successful edition where high school students from across the country showcased their talent in database modeling. Organized by the Adfaber Association<\/a><\/strong>, alongside the Tudor Vianu National College of Computer Science in Bucharest<\/strong>, and sponsored by Oracle Academy<\/strong>, the competition brought together young technology enthusiasts who transformed theoretical knowledge into practical solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EDB StartUP 2025: Technology redefines tourism<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The participants accepted the challenge of designing solutions based on intelligent databases meant to monitor and manage information about the tourism areas in a city or region This year's theme<\/strong> encouraged students to create advanced digital systems capable of identifying places to stay, restaurants, tourist attractions and local events, while providing detailed analysis of tourist flows.
This is an important step in using technology to tackle real societal problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Passionate about technology and guided by dedicated teachers, the students transformed theoretical knowledge into concrete solutions, demonstrating skills in database modeling and analytical thinking. The projects were evaluated by a jury of IT specialists who assessed the originality, complexity, and practical applicability of each solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who are the winners of EDB StartUP 2025?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\ud83e\udd49 3rd place<\/strong> is won by Echipa PDD<\/strong>, with the project \u201ePDD Tours\u201d<\/strong>. The project is realized by the students David Plocon Andrei, Dobre Alexandru and Pufu David, from the National College of Informatics \"Tudor Vianu\" in Bucharest, under the coordination of Prof. Elena Dragan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83e\udd48 2nd place<\/strong> is won by Echipa CXB Enterprises<\/strong>, with the project \u201eBuz\u0103u Safari\u201d<\/strong>. The project is realized by students Banu Andrei-Ioan and Coculescu Teodor, from the National College of Informatics \"Tudor Vianu\" in Bucharest, under the coordination of Prof. Vin\u021b Corina-Elena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\udfc6 1st place <\/strong>is won by Echipa CNER DM,<\/strong> with the project \u201eTurist \u00een Ia\u0219i\u201d<\/strong>. The project is realized by the students Daraban\u0103 Rare\u0219-Cristian, St\u0103nescu Horia and Hu\u021banu Andrei-Horia, from the National College \"Emil Racovi\u021b\u0103\" from Ia\u0219i, under the coordination of Prof. Cerchez Emanuela.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winners' experience: challenges, lessons and visions for the future<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Students shared their experience of participating in the competition, highlighting the challenges they faced<\/strong>, but also how they have evolved<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
